Mum’s flute teacher Arlette organized a concert “Flûte en Janvier” written by Claude-Henry Joubert and conducted by Clément to celebrate her retirement. We had a rehearsal in the morning and we went with all my previous flute teachers for a lunch in Orléans: Florance, Valérie B., Valérie M. & Nelly.
I forgot my flute in Cambridge… so I played with Clément’s one! It was really great to play all together and to see all my old music schoolmates. Louisa stayed all that time with Alan and discovered that Mum plays flute as she is not playing that much these last two years. Louisa seemed to appreciate as she started crying only when we stopped playing!
