We took the subway from Little India to Orchard and walked 20min from there to the botanical garden. Strolled around the garden. The weather was really sunny and hotter than usual. We visited the orchidarium. Really beautiful and pleasant visit. We took a lot of pictures! Had a lunch at Halia, a new Asian cuisine restaurant inside the park. Very good lunch and nice atmosphere. But we got a strong rain forest rain and thunderstorm. We waited half an hour for better weather. Went to the visitor center under the rain and took a cab back to the hotel. Took a shower and packed everything before checking out. Had a free drink at the hotel bar and took the MRT back to the airport. Where we had another pleasant example of how Singaporian people are efficient. We used internet for free in the airport for a while before boarding.
